Mathscription

Use your voice to create properly formatted mathematical expressions. This project combines Google’s Web Speech API with Open AI’s GPT 3.5 chatbot to transcribe spoken mathematical phrases and convert them into LaTeX. The LaTeX is then rendered as PNG and SVG images using CodeCogs. You may copy the formatted output and paste it into a LaTeX editor or download one of the images to include in email or other documents. Results may vary based on the unpredictability of GPT 3.5’s output. You may wish to try “Convert to LaTeX” more than once if the initial results are not as expected.
